Have you spotted that more women of working age are getting this virus than men?

Scroll down to the breakdown by sex and age.

Substantially more women than men between 20 and 60 are being diagnosed with CV. Why is it because they work in client facing jobs such as care and supermarkets... or is there another reason?

Thoughts?

I would expect yes it’s because they are in public facing jobs more. They are also more of them in key worker jobs, especially those where they come into contact with the public (shops, health, care, teaching).

However I believe they have a considerably better survival rate than men. Not suggesting this means they aren’t at risk though.
