Anyone thinking of having their cleaner back?

Mine hasn't been for 8 weeks (our choice, and I've still been paying her). I really miss her. Waiting to see what gets said later but I'm thinking about asking her to come back. My husband is shielding but he could keep out of her way while she's here and she always wears gloves.

Would this be stupid?

I have asked if mine is happy to come back next week, none of us will be in the house at the time so hoping she will say yes

My DS has had her cleaner coming as usual since all this started despite her being extremely vulnerable - DS that is, not her cleaner😊

She risk assessed and decided she would be at greater risk of illness from living in a midden than she would be from having her cleaner visit fortnightly.
DS's health precludes her from doing her own housework.

Mine is coming back from next week - we will be in the house but will stay upstairs til she's done downstairs and then switch. Bank transfer payment. She's happy to come back.

My neighbour mentioned that her cleaning company got in touch as apparently they understand they can now restart business as they have CV19 protocol in place (don't ask me). She is going to have them over.

God, yes. Can't wait.

Cleaner here.. I am awaiting invites back!! Sadly most of my customers are still a no no. Over 70, lots of dc at home, NHS workers and shielded groups. If you want yours back let them know!

Ours never stopped. We are her only client and, of course, offered to pay regardless. We are being paid so it's only fair. We were very grateful when she chose to continue coming.

People were always allowed to go to work if they couldn't work from home.

We always stay out of her way, in the garden or at the furthest possible distance so no change there.

We are her only client and don't feel the risk is unacceptable.
