Online secondary school transition

Our dcs secondary school has announced that transitions for the new year 7s this year will be online. Has anyone elses dc already started this? Just wondering how it works as not much info provided

My son's in year 6 and haven't announced this yet. I wish they would as it might give some clarity. They have sent an email saying they can go online and look around the school virtually. Such a shame for them
