I have been recovering from Covid for nearly 4 weeks and after a hospital stay I'm feeling much better.
However I seem to have been left with my taste buds a bit wonky. We had some strawberries today. They tasted nice and sweet to my BF and DD. But to me they didn't taste nice and left a nasty bitter taste in my mouth. My DS experienced it too and we believe he may have had Covid very mildly as he had a sore throat a week after I was ill. He has also been finding squash tasting horrible too that he usually likes.
I know loss of smell/taste has been reported as a symptom but has anyone experienced this and how long did it last?
