My parents are in the U.K. and in their seventies the last time I seen them was first week of December. I was due to visit at Easter with my youngest daughter but of course that was not to be.
I'm really worried as to when I will see them again my daughter is upset she loves visiting and misses them so much particularly her nanny. My mum seems very down and misses her grandchildren.
She seems to think I'll be over soon!
It's hard I'm scared anyone else in the same boat?

Yes. I'm in Italy. Not seen family since last August. My Aunt has died of Covid which makes me fucking angry.
I'm hoping to go back this summer at some point- holding out for August maybe. Dunno.

Me, but my husband and kids are also in UK. DH dashed back when DD2’s university closed with no notice and they are now all stuck there. My DM, who is 87, is wondering if she will ever see me again.

Yes my Mum is on her own in the UK after my Dad died last year. I saw her at Christmas and I’m sure she would have come out To visit again by now. It’s really crap as I think it won’t be safe to travel for well over a year now. The country I live in is in the early stages of Covid, we are only expecting our peak to hit us in August / September.
