Shielded people and a second wave

Just thinking about a possible second wave. If people are shielded during this first wave, will they be shielded in the second too? I'd assume so. What happens if there's a third wave? Will we keep getting 12 week shielding advice. I feel like I'll be staying shielded for ages.

Yep. If they can find one person with exactly my health shit/medication/age/weight/fitness/whatever and tell me if they lived or died, I'd be impressed never mind enough to give me a statistically significant idea of risk!

At a wild guess once the ‘lockdown’ (or pretend lockdown) has been ‘lifted’ and the high risk group reach the end of their 12 weeks I would imagine it would be left to the individual to manage their own risk from there. Not particularly helpful as most employers won’t be as supportive as needed.
