Sainsbury's click and collect questions

A quick one, as we have never done click and collect.
I managed to secure a slot for us for next week. Do I need to present myself in person, or can my partner go and collect the shopping instead (I dont really drive, and we have a newborn, so dont want to all have to go).
Secondly, it says they are not provising bags, but I know most supermarkets do that with delivery despite the same note- do we have to bring our own bags for click and collect?

At my local Sainsbury’s you park up, press a button to speak to someone and just give your name, then wait in your car (for 40 minutes in my case! They seemed overwhelmed), so they don’t check who’s actually collecting. My shopping cane unbagged in crates, so I had to bag it up as I put it in the car.

at my Sainsbury's there is an area in the car park where the click and collect truck waits. You drive alongside it (actually past it for s/distancing) and the C&C driver brings over the crates/or shoves them on the floor. At mine it is still bagged but on occasion the bags are small non branded - so I keep larger bags for life in the boot of my car and load bags in to bags.

Doesn't need to be you in person - you just give your name so they can find the shopping.
