Because you think it will make you a twat!

Here's mine.

Bins are collected Monday. We have a 2 week rolling collection alternating recycling and general. Currently garden waste postponed.

I'm also a keyworker (school) and currently alternating WFH and being in and so understand what it's like not being able to avoid exposure.

So Monday I note only 2/4 bins have been taken from our binstore. I watch and wait and think they may take those 2 back and swap for other 2. Doesn't happen. Respecting distancing I ask the binmen from the window to check and he says they tipped it all into those 2. I apologise for questioning but ask to re check as mine hasn't been pulled out and it was full to top.

They refuse.

Yep - you've guessed it. They've half emptied it. And because the large bin bag that was 3 bins emptied into it was first to be put in there

It'll be 5 weeks before it's collected from when placed in there. And I won't have room to put all current rubbish in for next 2 weeks.

But....... it just feels right now that if I did what I should have done and complained to council within 24 hours and have it collected following days round it would make me a giant twat!

Anyone else feel like that? Or would you have complained?
