Is your child at school? How are you finding sending them in?

I’ve started sending my ds in (mental health reasons, both him and me) and I keep struggling with the fact I’m potentially exposing us. I switch from panic mode to HE NEEDS IT CHILL OUT mode hourly atm 😂

I just wondered if anyone else has their kids at school and how you are finding it stress/worry wise?

I'm more concerned that they're falling behind with their school work because they're only doing an hour of independent work a day. Dd is fine but ds really could do with some extra support. I can't do that whilst I'm working, he obviously doesn't want to do anything after school either. All of his class are getting loads of work done at home with their parents so I feel like I'm letting him down.

Mine are going in 2/3 days a week. I am fine with it, not concerned at all about the virus. I will admit they aren’t doing too much work at school, they seem to get the maths and English done but they don’t touch the other subjects. DS is only year 3 though. There is a lot of emphasis on being outside and exercising. It’s the same few kids in an absolutely enormous school and they are playing long intricate games over weeks with things like the sandpit which is now a series of tunnels. They take their bikes in and are doing loads of cycling in the playground. The kids love it (my other is in nursery) and I am so happy for them that they get to do it.
