Is it right to charge in full and claim furlough?

Does anyone know the position on this? I am paying a company for work via a monthly standing order...they cannot provide services even though the work takes place outside. They are still charging but have also told me staff are being furloughed. Seems a bit weird.....thought the whole point of furlough was to pay people to stay home and therefore not charge.
