This cheered me up today. I know it hasn't happened yet but it sounds positive. We travel here every summer. Gives me a bit of hope although no doubt there'll be someone along shortly to tell me that there will be no more holidays ever!!

No one else thinks this is positive news?

I do, had a fabulous holiday at the Tui Islantilla and would love to visit the area again. I did wonder if they were opening soon, there was a fabulous little clothes shop there who I follow on IG, this week, they are postingnlots of pics after a long silence.

I find it extremely odd that they're opening hairdressing salons before funerals. WTF?

That aside, yes it's very nice to see areas coming out of this. I was delighted to see UK hospitals are starting up other services from today. The rest will all come too.

They're not opening things. Spain continues to be in a state of emergency, which means the central government has temporarily taken control away from regional governments. This is the Andalucian regional government's proposal. What the central government will do remains to be seen!

Yeah I realise that @meuca. Reading the article it looks like Andalucia has been impacted less than some areas. Still feel like it's positive news and hope it gets agreed if it's the right thing to do.

Well, we've spent the last two months seeing regional governments across the country make proposals which have been roundly ignored or shot down, so I have to say that I'm not holding my breath! Nevertheless, good luck to the Andaluces if some variant of this plan does get approved...

Would just be nice to see Spain turning a corner, would give the rest of us a bit of hope for some normality in the not so distant future.
