Our neighbour hired a rotovator, dug up his back lawn and has gone back to the good life, growing his own.

We always grow tomatoes, herbs, lettuce, but have added radishes to the list. Do not think that will feed the family. I just cannot bear to lose my lawn.

Anyone else into growing food?

@justasking111 companion gardening. There’s method to it. They will work together and keep the veg and flowers pest free if you get it right. Basics of cottage gardening.

I'm sure its a nice thing to do if you're so inclined but what's it got to do with corona virus? It's not ww2...there's no food shortages

Loads of people at home, so gardening when normally they wouldn't bother.

We're giving it a go for the first time, have dug a patch and planted peas, carrots, onions, beetroot and radishes. So far the peas are looking the most promising.
