Furloughed DH. Can he work?

Asking for DH. He has been furloughed from his job, but wants to work, if possible, as a delivery driver for a supermarket. Can he legally do this? Guidance online is not clear (to me, anyway!)

You totally can take a second job.

I can't see a moral issue with this at all. For a lot of people losing 20% (or 40% if its two people) of your household income is not insignificant. Additionally, the jobs now available in care homes, supermarkets, delivery drivers etc are very much needed and useful.
