Covid

So now we should all be injecting ourselves with Dettol - not

The Trump has outdone himself this time. Even more stupid than The Wall and his thoughts on global warming. My worry is that some people are so enamoured of him that they'll try it.

Disinfectant kill the germs, doesn't it?

@The80sweregreat, give it a go! It won't be as effective as the real thing, but it might give you some protection Wink. I am about to start clinical trials in my kitchen, and currently have found 8 different flavours of Zof, so except to see me all over Sky News, in my pinny, early next week.

Trump should do a clinical trial on himself Wink

It is a shame he does not lead by example, just like our PM did with the hand shaking

I even trialled an American accent one summer

🤣🤣🤣🤣

Brilliant idea. I assume Trump will be the first to take part?

We'll know when you're on, we'll be able to smell you. There'll be one of those captions running along the bottom of the screen, 'Cary is currently wearing Tropical Twist'.

This is what we might expect from the leader of an impoverished country where there is no education system

Grin Now, I must get back to my lab, er kitchen. If Boris phones, tell him I'm too busy for a natter.

they're also considering injecting Dettol into themselves. I guess they think that's basically what vaccinations are.

He didn’t actually say that though, did he? I really wish people would look at the context before jumping on the bandwagon.

Or raise our temperature. Aka fever. 🤣

It's a well known fact that all trump supporters who swallow bleach won't catch Corona virus.

"'Under no circumstance should our disinfectant products be administered into the human body,' said Lysol and Dettol's maker Reckitt Benckiser"

I would love to have been a fly on the wall in that Sales and Marketing meeting...

Dettol have put a big warning notice on their website advising people against ingesting it in any form!

The scary thing is that some of the wackier alternative medicine loons have already been drinking bleach for a while so this doesn't surprise me as much as it should.

Wouldn't it be better to snort it so it would go straight to your lungs? Though I thin k you would need to start with Napsan to make sure your lungs are sterile.

This is really horrible but my first second thought on seeing what Trump had said was, "Yes! Go for it!".

Can you imagine how much nicer the world would be if Trump's followers all swallowed half a bottle of Dettol or injected themselves with the stuff?

Once we'd buried all the bodies of course.

It's quite hard to understand why he said it. Possible options..... 1. He's really, really thick and genuinely believes injecting disinfectant will help. Having a president this thick is a worry. 2. He just says the first thing that comes into his head without filter. ADHD-ish. Having an impulsive ADHD-ish president is a worry. 3. He's having a laarfff. Having a president who jokes about stuff like this is a worry. 4. He's mentally ill and lost the capacity to critically evaluate stuff. President with demential / cognitive impairment is a worry. 5. He's deliberately trying to manipulate the public for some unknown / bonkers reason. Worry. 6. ..... You got me. Can't think of any other plausible reason. America is screwed.

Not only that, when asked by the press whether he should be creating such rumors he responded with "I'm the president and you're fake news".
He's fucking dangerous.
