Where is Boris Johnson?

Anyone else think it's really odd that we haven't seen hide nor hair of him since his video when he just came out of hospital?

He seemed remarkably well on that for someone who has come out of ICU, but despite that we've not heard a peep out of him. Not even a photo of him doing the NHS clap which he did previously and wouldn't take much setting up if he was still feeling unwell. Politicians like him know the value of such images but there's zilch. I think it's strange. Something is not adding up.

Any thoughts?

The problem is that everyone knows that Boris Johnson is a lazy, work shy, liar. We all know he'd be the bloke in your office who regularly doesn't turn up for work on a Monday, takes 2 hours for lunch everyday and has more deceased relatives whose funerals he absolutely has to attend than everyone else put together. So it's only natural that people don't believe him when he really is sick.

Boris haters... Hmm

VenusTiger · 24/04/2020 17:04

@MashedPotatoBrainz - lovely!

Bounceyflouncey · 24/04/2020 17:05

I would imagine most people would be given a few weeks off of work after coming out of the ICU. Not sure it's that weird.

Toilenstripes · 24/04/2020 17:08

I think He’s taking his convalescence seriously because he’s about to become a father again. Carrie probably had a rightful strop and told him a few truths about his mortality.

BenjiB · 24/04/2020 17:20

He’s been seriously ill and like anyone else needs to me to recover properly. It’s been on the news and everything!

User202004 · 24/04/2020 17:20

I think they're waiting to roll him out when they can loosen up some of the restrictions so people associate him with positive news.

terrigrey · 24/04/2020 17:27

I agree user

*Mashedpotato" - perfectly put. If Boris had a reputation for honesty and hard work there would be no speculation. But he doesn't have a reputation for either so here we are.

pontypridd · 24/04/2020 17:46

People are very understanding. BJ must be recuperating, it’s true. But in the meantime, don’t we need a PM? Even if it’s some one other than Boris.

RainMustFall · 24/04/2020 18:50

Shock So much ignorance and hatred in one thread.

Moo678 · 24/04/2020 19:06

A few of my friends have had covid (healthcare workers yes they’ve been tested). They were totally wiped out for a couple of weeks after it. I suspect he’s sleeping. I don’t like the man but I don’t begrudge him needing time to recuperate.

pontypridd · 24/04/2020 19:19

It’s fine for Boris to recuperate, but in the meantime we need someone to be in charge of the country.
