BBC London just reported about this man at the end of the local news

www.chiswicknursingcentre.co.uk/friendship-knows-no-bounds/

I'm just Shock

Isn't this just totally irresponsible saluting him for breaking all the rules? This was seen as heart warming 'Make a Difference' act.

Lovely heartwarming story.

Let's all hire a cherry picker and go and visit our elderly friends and relatives in care homes.

OP your link isn't working for me. Is this the man in Ohio?

BilboBercow · 24/04/2020 00:06

No I've found it now. I'm not sure he's actually breaking any rules. You are allowed to leave your house to provide support to a vulnerable person. He's complying with social distancing. It's a bit miserable to complain about it tbh

Such a poor argument against this, because you know perfectly well that isn't going to happen.

I am just a bit confused, the gifts were received by nursing staff. Did the front door not work? Did he see his friend or not?

LemonadeAndDaisyChains · 24/04/2020 00:39
Confused What exactly are you moaning at? Sounds like he complied with all social distancing measures. I swear, some people are just out to look for things to get outraged about?!

The article said She is now too poorly to leave her bed
So I read it as of course she's not going to be able to come and collect them from the window herself.
'Cos, bed.
So the carers did that for her.
He'd have seen her through the window though from a distance, 'cos, cherry picker.
What's the front door got to do with anything? He obviously wanted to see his friend and this was a way to do it.
