What time do Tesco release delivery slots?

Tesco - a supermarket I have never shopped at - have emailed me to say that I get priority access to delivery slots. There aren't any left so I would like to know what time of day I should be checking the website?

(Waitrose and Sainsbury's where I do shop are yet to acknowledge my existence)

Iceland have been a godsend if you have one of those near .

I've just logged on and loads of slots for my area for May 11th week

Flyingflamingo I have delivery saver too so maybe that's why they're available for me to book

The slots between 12 - 18 May appeared the early hours on my app I'm amazed that most of them are still showing available

I think they must be giving us a week ahead of everyone else before they go on general sale, like they do at Christmas. I also pay for an Ocado pass and Tesco are doing much better than them, I think I’ll be cancelling Ocado after things settle down. I don’t want to do it yet because I want to keep my options open. I’ve been impressed with Tesco though, firstly for refunding and pausing my delivery saver payments whilst still allowing free deliveries and now for actually prioritising loyal customers. Ocado’s communication has been awful!

I'm in London and for me the slots open up around 3-4am. If DD wakes me up at that time I always check. I don't always get one, I've been with Tesco for a long time on a weekly basis, and spend a lot with them.... but they haven't given me a priority slot so I assume they are keeping them for people like yourselves which is good.

Ocado I get 1 slot every 2 weeks and I spend frequently with them also for lots of other bits and bobs

flying I've shopped online with Tesco since they started grocery deliveries and have to say I've never had any complaints. Drivers always lovely and on time, refunds given with no quibbles, good subs. Used Sainsburys too at one time and eventually stopped because the service just wasn't as good. I think Tesco seem to be handling things pretty well at the moment

Well bloody hell. After two weeks constantly checking, I'd given up.

Just managed to get a click and collect for mid may. Also managed to get a delivery to my elderly parent 40 miles away.

We had loads going through the browser at about 7.30am, and haven't had any for a month.

I can still see slots for Monday 18th there are probably ones in the week before but I can’t see them as I have booking

Ocado are on my shit list - though I'm still checking their website - they emailed me to tell me that because I haven't ordered since 2016 they won't prioritise me even though I'm on Gov list.

I didn't get my diagnosis until 17 March - day of lockdown so I've never really needed to online shop until now.

Gosh. I just checked my Tesco app and it had like 20 free slots for 17-18 May. I don't need one but it's still very odd to see! The same thing happened yesterday so they must be releasing some slots in the mid morning too.

Yes I have a whole day of slots on the 19th visible now too, literally every slot is available. They must have put something in for delivery saver customers.

I can only see slots up until 12th May - presumably those registered as priority/vulnerable get to see an extra week of slots so they can book these first (which is fair enough).

Also just noticed this on the website, which I had suspected for a while as I can't see any slots, then suddenly can see loads......

"Yes, we've introduced a limit of one order a week, which means you may be unable to see future delivery slots if you've recently made an order. This limit has enabled us to help thousands more customers secure a delivery slot and applies to all our customers, not just those with a Delivery Saver plan."

So if you have just booked one there is no point checking again for a week.

It's also those with Delivery Saver passes now. Both my friend and I are not on any list and not vulnerable at all but can now see the extra week as we are Delivery Pass customers. Not sure when they changed it, I'm guessing just this week

Rejoice! I have a Tesco slot for next week. Which is perfect timing as I'm due to come home from the hospital. So timing is perfect

Sainsbury's also contacted me to say I'm on their list - so I create my account and then it says I'm not on their list. Hopefully, their system will catch up with itself soon

Anyway I'm starting to feel less stressed about this now

I've been sitting here refreshing app and website for over 2 hours and nothing. I could cry with frustration! I will just have to try again tomorrow I guess.

I've just woken up and had a look and just can't get on the site at all, no "in a queue", just 'something went wrong try again later". Is the site down?

Ah . I will give up and go back to sleep then instead of frantically refreshing the page !

The site “Is it down right now “ says it’s slow but the comments say otherwise .

I got one at 11am the other day. Wasn't there at 10.30, then was. Mind you it was for 3 weeks away (priority slot for the vulnerable)
