Just wondering if any parents or teachers caught it from kids?

As they dont trace it here and its mooted 'kids dont pass it on'

Yes, from my daughter, other families with children in her class were also ill and the children were the only joint contact.

Was the child asymptomatic?

Yes from DS1, he had a cough and a temperature, I started coughing the next day and had a temperature a week after DSs started.

DH didn't get ill at all, and DS2 had a cough but no temperature.

I'm certain we got it here from my friends little boy who I babysit. He had all the symptoms in late January and wasn't right for almost a month.

Yes i was reading kids 50% might have no fever.

Which would impact on them being in school because they might not take the 14d off if have neither cough or temp.

Tbh without testing many kids would be off loads with various non covid illness that had to take 14d off.

Yes it just seems research (german) seems to suggest kids were not spreading it to adults. I guess age of child might matter.

French research suggests the same. It suggests that adults give it to children rather than the other way around.
