SEN young mum assaulted by DP for a 2nd time.
DC staying with paternal GM atm who has previously assaulted the young mum (think major abuse situ)
Latest assault took place last week in which I personally heard the beating down the phone. The young mum is thankfully safe with friends now however the police will not be taking further action as apparently it will be one word against another and I should understand in the current climate it would not be in the public interest. I should also understand that “people are dying you know.”
Am I really being that selfish to expect the police to “waste valuable resources”?!
