Is hoarseness a symptom you've experienced?

I've had all sorts of mild level symptoms over the past fortnight which wouldn't ordinarily register on my radar but today, I've all of a sudden become hoarse on top of everything else. I live alone, so it's not from talking, I just seem to be losing my voice? Only trips outdoors are essential trips to shops and an occasional walk/run? No fever. Have had random coughing and sneezing, but no more than would be normal for me?

We’ve had this on and off for weeks in our house, I’ve put it down to hayfever to be honest. Do you suffer?

Tangledyarn · 17/04/2020 21:32

Yes have been hoarse on and off for 6 weeks, but also had a lot of more typical symptoms cough, fever, breathlessness as well.

Yes! I can hardly speak due to hoarseness and breathlessness. Been like this for four weeks now

I think because hoarseness is something I can measure i.e. losing my voice, I'm more concerned than I am about headache, breathlessness etc. I can run some days, others I can't! Don't think I have a fever, I've a headache alright, but nothing worse.
