Does your DH now appreciate how much work you do?

If you live in a more traditional household where women tend to do most of the housework, do you think the current crisis has made men realise just how much work you do in the house and appreciate you any more? My DH is making a lot more mess and untidiness around the house which means I am forever cleaning up and hoovering. A couple of times he has commented that I always seem to be doing something!! I have to say I will be pleased to get the house back to myself during the day!!

Yes. I think my DH is realising how tiring it is looking after two under 3.5! I'm a SAHM and I don't think he really 'got' it before.

I’m a SAHM but DH has always appreciated how much I do, thankfully.

I’m a care worker and sadly I don’t think DH does. I was out working yesterday and came home and the house was a complete mess with no dishes or cleaning done.

I got angry and confronted DH and he said that there’s no reason why I can’t do it!! Angry
