Holiday in UK end of May

We are booked to go on holiday at the end of May to bluestone in Wales - so a little like centre Parcs.
We’ve paid all the money but even if restrictions are by some miracle lifted by then we wouldn’t want to go as I’m vulnerable.
Where would we stand on this? Surely such places won’t be open by end of May? I’m worried if they reopen we will lose all the money.

I had one booked with holiday cottages for end of May and they're allowing you to reschedule as I believe most companies are. I got an email and there was a link where you could amend your booking.

Parker231 · 14/04/2020 17:43

Either a reschedule or claim on your travel insurance.

We are due to go butlins middle of July I hope it goes ahead but I'm not sure, I don't know whether to cancel it or keep paying.

SpudsAreLife84 · 14/04/2020 19:20

@gingerbreadslice absolutely keep paying! You must meet your contractual obligation to pay in full to be entitled to a full refund. I paid £4k to Disney knowing full well it would be cancelled so I could get a refund, which I did as France will still be in lockdown in May when we were meant to go.

We're due to go away the first week of June, uk holiday park, due to pay balance this week but they've said they'll put it on hold until they confirm if they'll be open. If they are, we may risk it, but I reckon its unlikely.

Felicitycity · 14/04/2020 19:44

No one will be going on holiday in May. IMHO

Lifeisbeaut · 14/04/2020 20:08

Bluestone is being used as a hospital

gingerbreadslice · 14/04/2020 20:31

@SpudsAreLife84 Thanks I'll keep paying then funnily enough after I wrote this i read their terms and they said if I cancelled now I'd lose everything I've paid so far Shock.
