Those of you who have managed to get a delivery slot, has your order arrived with a tonne of items missing / subbed?

Ocado came Tuesday only thing missing was sausage rolls.

All good to know, thank you. I just wondered whether it's worth it to keep trying for a slot or explore locally instead (via online, of course)

I’ve had several ASDA deliveries, a few unavailable items and a few unsuitable substitutions but mostly ok, on average it’s a handful of substitutions and a couple of unavailable items per weekly shop.

I’ve also had one Morrison’s delivery, there were no unavailable items, just a dozens substitutions but they were all sensible and acceptable subs.

Had our ASDA order delivered on Thursday. Ordered enough to last ages as not sure if we'll get another slot again.

£140 worth.

Only thing that didn't come was dishwasher salt. A few sensible substitutes.

Full fat sausages instead of low fat
72 nappies instead of 24
Tin of chilli con carne instead of stewed steak
Wholemeal bread flour instead of fine wholemeal flour
Tortilla wraps instead of putts breads
550h cheese block instead of 2x 350g

Pretty happy with that as had ordered fresh meat, milk, eggs, potatoes, veg & baby accessories that all came. 👍🏻

Just to add.... regarding the ASDA shop that we had delivered yesterday, it was a full weekly shop for us, plus a small shop for mil.

I was able to get everything on my list other than tinned tomatoes, plain flour and Brussels sprouts.

I had a Sainsbury’s delivery yesterday. They had run out of toilet paper and gave me kitchen roll instead. The only other thing they didn’t have was scouring sponges...the substitution was a bottle of Merlot

Asda click and collect last week was mostly there, but in this week's I have had hardly any of my meat and fruit which I'm annoyed about, but do have some of my veg. Lots of weird substitutions too!

I had an Asda delivery the other day with some substitutes that weren't suitable - I requested a refund for them and received it next day.

Most subs were okay. I have a slot for next week but not sure when I'll get another after that!

My last three Ocado deliveries combined I've had 14 missing items and 25 subs (subs have been fine). That's over three shops with the most amount missing or subbed in the first of the three orders** (8 missing and 11 subbed at the end of March).

I've got another order coming on Tuesday so am expect missing and subbed items. Most likely flour, toilet block and toilet rolls (that I genuinely need!). I'm not complaining though as I'm very happy to have deliveries and fresh food.

What supermarket are you using OP?
