Does it sound like I’ve had it?

Just over three weeks ago I had body aches, a slightly raised temperature, chills and a very sore throat for two days and then a cough developed, which I still have 3 weeks later, I also had rattling when I breathed.
My DS had a cough so bad it made him throw up and he had a slightly raised temp. He was very sleepy and off his food. He’s much better now.
My DP had a very slight cough, but he had diarrhoea for 3 days before either mine or DS symptoms started.
I’m still going to act as though I haven’t had it, but I’m convinced I did.

I later discovered my friend (who I saw shortly before the symptoms started) also developed a headache, a temperature and a tight chest.
I’ve since heard of other people I know/been in contact with who have had similar symptoms including loss of smell and taste.

Its impossible to say to be honest.

I had the same symptoms in the back end of November, but it could have been just another type of infection.

Until there are reliable antibody tests, available to everyone, we'll never know if it is Covid or just another viral infection.

I think a lot of us are in the same situation. I'm coming out of 9 days of a tight painful chest, mild fever, cough and generally feeling yuck. I think I've probably had it, but likely will never know.

You may well have done.
But until you've had an antibody test you should behave as though you haven't had it and could still contract and spread covid.
We're in the same boat here.

Me and dp had this in late January. Im sure it was cv.

Same here. DH and I had body aches, exhaustion, vile headaches and loss of taste and smell. DH had spiking fever and a chest infect, for which he needed two lots of antibiotics. I didn't have the fever but still have a mild but irritating cough. Our GP said in a phone consultation that we've "more than likely" had COVID-19, but we won't know for sure without an antibody test.

Lots of us on here. Low-grade fever which lasted well over a fortnight. Sore throat and headaches at start, tight chest/sore lungs started day 5 and didn't start easing until day 13. Cough, but not major. Very tired. DH similar. DS intermittently hot and tired. 3 weeks on I am getting better, but it's slow. We live in a hotspot, seems likely we've had CV19.

I think it does sound like you’ve probably had it, but no way of telling for sure unless you had a test.
