Amongst all the doom and gloom let's have a bit of levity.

Is anyone else as shallow as me? I keep being distracted by the home decor of journalists' or interviewees' homes.

Lol
I thought that I was the only nosy one.
Carole Malone’s kitchen was beautiful
I would choose a plain wall

Every time there are bookshelves we all say “secret passage!” Ds started saying it when he saw interesting bookshelves in a scooby doo Kind of way. I also said to dh that no one is ever in a kitchen but then saw that blonde woman who is often a guest on sky (Carole?) who was in a glossy cream kitchen.

I meant to say that Paul Merton had DVDs not CD's!
I try to see the book titles on their spines. I did spot a Hilary Mantel book but mostly I can't see them very well!
Matt Hancock had many books. Why do they get time to read them all? Lol

For me this has been the best bit of all this. Seeing people’s bookcases and kitchens.
Ian Duncan Smith this morning was very boring.

I love everyone's homes! It was David Liddington with the bare lightbulb and damp patch, looked like an unloved spare room. He was in a nicer room this morning, wonder if his partner/wife went nuts when she saw him being interviewed in the crap room! 😝

I love Matt Hancock's with all the books, Gove's curtains were awful. Quite like Pestons.

I'm so dim, I was vaguely wondering if Jon Snow and Krishnan GM were flat sharing until DH pointed out it was a backdrop, not only is it a backdrop but think it's of the virus 🤦 I thought it was colourful wallpaper originally!

This is a bit of a perk

I'm so nosey and I like seeing how background reflects personality

Ooh I'm glad I'm not the only only one!

I'll either admire someone's lovely sleek kitchen, wishing I could have one as big or expensive looking, or I'll think they are lovely and down to earth by seeing a clothes airer leaning against a bedroom wall like at behind Anneliese Dodds' home while giving one of her first speeches as Shadow Chancellor.

Then of course admiring all the walls of floor to ceiling bookcases. I try to work out what some of the books are. I also think, has the person placed themselves in front of them to appear even more educated and oh so bright? Wink
