Vulnerable list for child with rare genetic condition

Just wondering if my son should be on the list. His condition is rare 31 reported world wide. Only find out about his diagnosis last year so there isn't much known about it yet.

But should he be on the list.

Depends on if his condition significantly increases his risk of infections OP.

If you are unsure, ask his GP's surgery for clarification.

I have a rare genetic condition which isn't on the high risk list. I have received a letter from my consultant telling me to not go out at all for 12 weeks and to practice shielding within the household. It's not because my condition is rare, but how it affects me.

I'd advise getting in touch with your son's consultant or geneticist for advice.
