This can't be right?! Exercise ok with symptoms?

I've got a new continuous cough, so self-isolating, as are DH and DD (whole household). I have nasty asthma, so checked with the 111 online Covid19 section. It states that you have to stay home, except for 1 stint of excercise a day. Surely that's not right? Surely you shouldn't be leaving the house at all?!

I was unsure until I checked too but I think they are acknowledging the importance of fresh air, exercise and vitamin D on our bodies’ ability to cope with the respiratory symptoms.

TBH for the first several days of what I think was coronavirus I was barely able to sit up anyway and after that I was still incredibly weak so the rules were irrelevant. I think it was day 9 when I managed to walk about 200m round trip from the front door (obviously not touching anything - our streets are pretty much empty, if it was crowded I wouldn’t have). I’m still not strong enough to get to the shops anyway (day 18) but we had kind friends drop stuff off.
