Also miss living without a permanent knot of anxiety in my stomach. And I was anxious before.

Freedom. Everything. It's our 30th anniversary tomorrow and we can't even go out for a Costa to celebrate. I'm really sad about that. Trivial to most, I know, but important to me.

Rubyroses3 · 04/04/2020 12:51

I miss visiting my parents and sister. I also miss a quarter pounder with cheese meal from McDs.

Whatelsecouldibecalled · 04/04/2020 12:52

My family. Terribly

Wewearpinkonwednesdays · 04/04/2020 12:52

The beach
The country parks
Driving in the car listening to the radio
The macaroons from a local cafe (probably a good thing)
Looking forward to the weekend, it's just been a 2 week long weekend so far.
My mum, I feel really sorry for her stuck in a new house by herself.she was living with us up until February after splitting with my dad, so this must be really hard for her.

Pipandmum · 04/04/2020 12:53

Well flippantly milk as my teemage son managed to consume a brand new 4litre bottle yesterday.
I do a virtual coffee morning via HouseParty three times a week - not the same but we have a good chat and keeps us feeling connected. Give that a try.

YewandOak · 04/04/2020 12:54

Work!
And the freedom just to hop on the bus or train and just go. Somewhere. Anywhere.

PeppaisaBitch · 04/04/2020 12:57

Doing something different on the weekends. It's becoming really monotonous.

nutellafortea · 04/04/2020 13:03

Being out in nature. In Spain we are not allowed to go out for exercise. I'm trying to keep active by going up and down the stairs, but I really miss is being in nature - something I do every day in normal circumstances. Sadly I don't have a garden.

Yogawoogie · 04/04/2020 13:05

My children. I work for the NHS and they’ve gone to their Dads. It’s breaking my heart even though I know it’s the most sensible thing to do.

WhiteChocTwix · 04/04/2020 13:19

My monthly eyebrow wax! Starting to resemble my year 10 school photo 🤨

Gammeldragz · 04/04/2020 13:24

Wednesday mornings, DH and I both home and no DCs! Definitely miss the alone time.

Number12 · 04/04/2020 13:30

Time alone in the house without hearing, "can you just...." "mummmmy...." I need my alone time.

booboo24 · 04/04/2020 13:30

My mum and dad, my fiance, and my sister. Oh and an egg burger with chips and curry sauce.

To the frontline workers though, THANK YOU, you are so brave and I know that my small sacrifices are nothing compared to those you are all making x

chooseausername · 04/04/2020 13:36

My parents and in laws. My DH is a key worker and we have a 6 month old. It's so lonely being here by myself most of the time. Both of our parents are retired so it was nice having them pop in a few times in the week. We can facetime which is great but it's not the same.

Poetryinaction · 04/04/2020 13:43

Nothing yet. It's only been 2 weeks. I am savouring the quiet. It's been busy with work and kids at home. I'm glad it's now the Easter holidays. I expect I'll miss taking them to the park soon. I don't miss family as I never saw them anyway. I tried, but they were always too busy. I think I miss being away from my dh a bit. He gets under my feet. That's it.

Whatsnewpussyhat · 04/04/2020 13:44

My mum.

Boredbumhead · 04/04/2020 13:44

Honestly I am missing very little. The things I like, books, walks, my kids, my pets, good food, I still have access to.

meow1989 · 04/04/2020 13:44

My parents, my sister and brother in law. My pils.

Also my friend and her little girl - myself, dh and ds were due to go in holiday with them on monday and we had to cancel, obviously. The kids are really missing each other.

Pluckedpencil · 04/04/2020 13:50

In italy. Miss leaving the driveway of my house. You are so lucky in the UK being allowed out for exercise. My children haven't been able to go beyond the front gate now for over a month. I just miss taking DD for a walk in the pram or going for my morning jog. Feel fat and hate it.

Poetryinaction · 04/04/2020 13:53

Ugh that sounds grim. No reason to believe that won't be us soon. Can you do online exercise classes?

bobbityboop · 04/04/2020 13:57

My childminder.

FrangipaniBlue · 04/04/2020 14:04

Swimming.

I've been having lessons over winter and joined a masters course in February. I was just starting to show huge improvement (and believe in my myself) and then this.

NotAnotherFeckingMuftiDay · 04/04/2020 14:26

I miss going to work.

I'm working from home but am really struggling without my walk home from work - I hadn't realised how much it helps maintain mental separation between work and home life.

GatoradeMeBitch · 04/04/2020 14:29

Right now I'm missing just popping out to the shops to buy fruit and icelollies. The supermarket is a two minute walk from my house but I can't kid myself that going out for strawberries and Calippos is essential...
