A warning to users of Morrison’s Click and Collect
I have just picked up my Morrison’s order Several items were substituted and for much more expensive items I was not allowed to reject these substitutes
The extra cost was around £30 I called customer services after checking I had been charged the full amount Apparently nothing I can do but pay the extra I may be able to return theses items after the crisis
So if you are on a tight budget and choose cheaper items These may be substituted by more expensive ones and you will be charged
Hope this makes sense but Morrison’s this is an appalling way to treat customers and I am so disgusted and disappointed with them

This is from my email receipt, you need to tell them this was refused at collection.

We're sorry, there are items missing from your order, please see below for details. If you don't wish to accept the subsitutions, simply let the Click & Collect colleague know and they’ll be deducted from your final bill

What if you don't have the extra £40 funds the subs need to be like for like.

I think they may have changed their policy as first click and collect we did I had same issue. £6.99 firming body lotion instead of £2 hand cream, butter instead of dairy free spread, £2.50bread instead of 50p one etc and assistant said I had to accept them. I said I couldn't pay all the extra and she got the manager who grudgingly took them back. It's not that I'd even touched them as they were in a separate crate.
I emailed Morrison's who replied that you didn't have to accept substitutes and this weeks order first thing lady said was " all the substitutes are there but just leave anything you don't want".
Still frustrating that you can't order veg when it is actually available in store!

Can't see a refund section anywhere online and driver gave no option to refund at the door. Left without mentioning

Have emailed but not expecting a response any time soon

Got through on phone and they have refunded some

Have kept the ones similar price but not the ones more than double!

Morrisons do seem to be ripping people off. I ordered the big box of strawberries for £3.50 and they replaced it with two packs of little ones . Fine fair enough I know these are £2 each or if you buy 2 it's £3 but Morrison's have charged me £4. When it's only £3 and they have done similar on my order multiple times.
