It’s hard work. I have three young children, one very disabled. What little things keep you going? In our house, it’s:
Everyone exercising first thing
Routine for kids: exercise, some work, drawing, craft etc, snack etc
A nice cup of (homemade) coffee in the morning
Not feeling bad about screen time when I need to get things done
Texting friends with kids of a similar age- same stresses and issues
A glass of wine each night.
Feel much better on days when we have spent more time outside.
