Existential questions for home quarantine

How often does one wash one's hair during lockdown?

I can't be arsed to wash my hair at the moment and it doesn't feel dirty (with not going out and all).

I'm using my dishwasher more with all the extra cooking so am reallocating water use towards that. I'm also preserving shampoo and conditioner.

Are my excuses reasonable, or am I just being a grubby, lazy slattern?

What existential questions do you want answewed?

I used to wash my hair daily and now do it weekly.

Just leave it and do it when it needs it - the longer you leave it, the less oil is produced and it needs washing less. Rinse with warm water but no shampoo if you find it icky to begin.

Back in the day I used to wash my hair every other day. Now it's more like twice a week. I do my fringe every day, but the rest is just in a messy bun.

I think it's fine. It's good to give it a break from washing and heat styling. Or at least that's what I'm telling myself!

Clara - I initially read that as you washing your fridge every day Grin

No hairdryer or straighteners are going anywhere near my head. It will be lucky to see a hairbrush! I'm going for the full on electrocuted look.

If it gets too bad for the zoom meetings, I'll just be like that lady in the US and turn myself into a virtual potato.
