Just that really. And is it complete?

I’m not sure I had covid19 as not tested but I lost my sense of smell and taste for over a week. Bizarre, couldn’t even smell the toddler’s utterly noxious nappies, couldn’t taste anything in food so resorted to adding burning heat of chillies. It was a complete loss, not even a tiny bit of senses left.

However my other symptoms were more like bronchitis then sinus infection so maybe it wasn’t Coronavirus.

I’m slowly starting to get mine back @ 16 days! I could taste salt and vinegar crisps yesterday although the taste was a bit different and less enjoyable Envy

I genuinely think I've had this. About 6 or 7 weeks ago I had the most horrific cold couldn't taste or smell. Couldn't breathe at night. Fever. So so tired and achy. Had it for one week felt OK for 2 days then hit me like a tonne of bricks again. Went to the Dr's who gave me some anti biotics for 10 days Weather the antibiotics cleared it or I just happened to get better during that time I don't know. I was proberly ill and lost senses for just over 2 weeks and it was miserable. I never go to the doctor the last time was in 2017
But this absolutely floored me. Coronavirus wasn't even mentioned or on my radar seriously at that point.

And it was strange as a week after this I was better and speaking to a lady I know at a toddler group and she said she'd had exactly the same thing. Either it's corona or another vicious virus going round. All my children were ill around this time too and all seen by gp and nothing was mentioned.

I'm on day 9 of no smell or taste. Most people I know have said it takes at least 2 weeks to come back.

I had CV symptoms starting just over 2 weeks and as part of that, I lost my sense of taste and smell for approximately 5 days, with a couple of subsequent days where I could taste things, but nothing tasted “right”

Nearly 2 weeks here. It came back really slowly and still not totally returned. On the upside, I've lost weight as no appetite...

I started with a very minor (but it went on the whole day) cough 18 days ago. I have never been particularly unwell but some aches and pains and chills for the first week. On day 8 I experienced a total loss of smell. I could still taste a bit but no smell whatsoever.

I am still not able to smell properly although it has returned a bit. It's as though I can smell the basic scent of sweet or savoury but the underlying notes aren't there. So it feels very two dimensional IYKWIM.

I am hoping that it will continue to return.

Just to say I wasn't tested and no idea whether I had C-19. I still cough a bit here and there especially after exercise when I feel like I don't have as much breath as I usually do.
