Click n collects for other people

Hi, I've reserved a click n collect Drive thru collection and in the same slot I've also got my (70+) parents a collection order too. Will they let me pick up both orders? Says I have to take ID?

Sainsburys usually just ask for your name, although it says to take photo ID. Not sure about collecting 2 orders though..

My husband could collect one, ie we could go in two cars but it'd therefore mean us taking the children with us. Hmm.

I’d go in two cars otherwise you run the risk of them assuming you’ve booked under someone else’s name to get more stuff.

Which is absolutely not the case but yes I certainly see your point @Purpleclownsuit

I don't think they will care to be honest and you have a good reason and can't be the only one doing it.

If you are worried maybe pick up the first one, drive round the block then come back and get the second? I don't think they'd pay any attention that you'd been through 5 mins ago, they just want to clear the orders asap.

How far away is it? Could you get one and IF they send you away, go home and get DH to go?

Seems a shame to have to take the kids out when you are going a good thing.

Our Tesco ones are in 2 hour slots. Can you get yours, ask to collect the other, and if not allowed send DH later in the slot?

Add a note to your parents order saying flutterby31 will be collecting it on their behalf
