We have been keeping ourselves in doors and when we need to go out we have been staying a good distance away from others been wearing gloves and scarfs round our faces just as a precaution and they do get washed on a high temperature separate

All 3 of us have been fine one thing I've noticed is my hayfever starting to show but my partner this morning had spit up 4 times and all with phlegm but blood and a slight tightness in chest

I'm thinking chest infection so does doc as he has no other symptoms no fever cough sore throat shortness of breath etc

Doc has sent him to hospital to be checked should we be worried its Corona?

Partner back from hospital no idea what is causing the tightness and blood stained phlegm (had another 2 small amounts up while in hospital)
Still no other symptoms so they sent him home after they got the blood tests back nothing showing any infection ie chest and they done a blood test for coronavirus and that came back clear but he still has to self isolate for 7 days and me and my daughter for 2 weeks just to be safe
Relief in a way but still worried as to what it is etc
Now need to try and get shopping delivered to the house

I bet you had quite a scare! At least you know you all are all right! Hang in there Flowers

I thought the Coronavirus tests took 24 hours?

My friend had some issues with coughing up (small amounts of) bright red blood when she got a bad cough. She was x rayed and no issues, seems to be a small amount of damage internally caused by coughing hard. Has been years since she was first checked out.

I also had this recently and freaked out but then realised it was from a minor nose bleed!

@Hotpinkangel19 that's what I thought when he was on the phone to the docs they had said they will test you for cv while your in there just to be sure and I think its 24 hrs for the swabs but blood is quicker I think still a tad confused on that one

Still worried though but theres no other symptoms and he feels fine just a sore head and tired which I'm now wondering if it's a side effect to one of his tablets hes on preagablin
