My knees hurt and I've got earache - anyone else with non-typical symptoms?

Obviously we are self isolating now!

But all I have so far is aching knees, slight backache, and ears that hurt when I swallow. Could this really be IT?

We're self isolating as I have not been well and had various symptoms. My knees were throbbing for a few days. Strange!

Aching joints is a listed symptom...

And my ear hurts when I swallow with sore throat (not very sore though). I have had that since Friday, when I also completely lost all sense of taste and smell. Saturday I had aching neck and back and felt awful. But the aching stopped after a day. Since then just a sore(ish) throat and ear and no taste or smell. Really hope this is it and we are over it. Other members of the family have had varied symptoms too - 10yo maybe none at all (v minor cough for a day or two).

Is this for real? Sore knees and an ear ache and you’re convinced you’ve got a respiratory virus. Please people, calm down!!

I’ve got a sore throat and achey, but I don’t think I’ve got cv. I think it’s hay fever.

I had a terrible headache last week and I was shattered. My friend thinks I should self isolate. It could also be a bug or anxiety.

The first sign I wasn't right was when I did my usual yoga yesterday morning (20 mins worth which I've been doing for several years) and every single stretch hurt, and the ones involving my knees I just couldn't do properly. It was a real noticeable difference and I racked my brains but definitely haven't done anything physical to cause it.

Went to bed feeling a bit meh and woke up with seriously bad earache and really stiff sore knees. As the day has gone on I'm a bit hot but we don't have a thermometer so no idea how hot, and more of my joints are aching (hips, elbows and neck). The earache is now in the top of my throat as well and swallowing hurts.

Obviously I know it's not typical symptoms but I'm seeing reports of aching limbs/joints and other non-typical symptoms (stomach issues for example which apparently about 50% of people reported in one study) so felt it best to be on the safe side. There are reports of confirmed cases with no cough so it's not always the main symptom clearly. I've no idea if it's CV19 or not but I don't feel well enough to go out today anyway so it's obviously something and I was curious as to others experience - is that ok with you @Goingfarawsy ?

If you post on a public forum you’re asking for other people’s opinions. Speak to yourself if you only want people to agree with you.

Aching knees could be from just being in the house all day with little exercise. I doubt it's the C.

Your opinion is welcome, I haven't told you not to give it. Crack on I'm just surprised that you felt the need to be so snippy when it's fairly widely reported that some people are experiencing symptoms that don't include a cough. Earache, pain when swallowing, and sore joints with no physical explanation come under a broad heading of 'flu like symptoms" and under the current circumstances I would expect anyone with flu like symptoms to self isolate.

Lots of people have had non specific symptoms then the cough has developed later. Sure throat, feverish feeling and aching joints, sounds like it could be brewing.

2 years ago I had bleach poisoning... Symptoms very similar to some of CV.. If you are using more bleach products than usual please make sure your home is well ventilated...

That's weird as I started with earache last night! I'm putting it all down to hay fever at the moment. I've been waking with a headache, feeling a bit achy in my arms and legs and have stinging eyes. No cough and no temperature.
