My parents have both come down with sickness and diarrhoea over night.
No coughs or temps that I know of.
They don't know what they could have eaten that would have caused it.
Has anyone who's had what they suspect is covid start with this?

I had 1 bout of diarrhoea out of the blue. Then sore throat and slight chest pain for a few days. Now had a fever of 101 for a couple of days. Today am feeling rough but no fever.
No idea what it is but never had anything like this. It comes and goes for the last 10 days.

So yes, diarrhoea but then it stopped and other stuff started.

WHO report 29 March said there was some evidence it could lead to intestinal infection.

Study by gastroenterology society (?? Not sure of exact name) said when it first started appearing nearly half of people in Wuhan went to hospital thinking it was some sort of stomach prob, but then over 90% went on to develop standard symptoms such as cough, temp, respiratory

Yes I believe it can be, I had diarrhoea at the start of what I believe was mild covid19.

Oh it was the American journal of gasteroenterology, I read the article on it in fox news.

It appears it can be, I don't think they know enough about it as yet

I had killer indigestion for 24 hours then mild runs, fever started next day.

Me and ds2 had diarrhoea and I had abdominal pain. We then came down with sore throat, headache, temperature and then coughing the next day.

My dad had diarrhoea for three days before developing a temperature. He tested positive for Covid-19 and has been in hospital feeling really rough.

No cough. Symptoms have been diarrhoea, temp, nausea, malaise and hoarseness but not sore throat.

We have a friend out in the states. Dr eric serrano. Saw a youtube vid of him yest chatting about cv and what hes been seeing in patients at his practice. Some of them had d&v as first symptoms.

coronade · 01/04/2020 09:50

Yes. My friend got stuck in Tenerife due to the lock down. The day after she got home she had unexpected diarrhoea (a few bouts over 2 days). She then started with a temperature and cough. Luckily she didn’t get any breathlessness. She was very fatigued for a week but is back to work now.
Get them to drink plenty of water and just rest. Also if other symptoms start take paracetamol every 6hrs without fail.

How are they @itzybitzy?

I woke up with diarrhea and nausea today and feeling paranoid. DH is the only one who has left the house in 2 weeks and he came down with a cold a couple of days ago. No cough or fever though Confused
