Furlough and loss of shift allowance?

Just wondering if anyone knows (as I cannot find anything on google) if it's right that my employer can remove my shift allowance while furloughed?
I appreciate I'm not working shifts but it has accounted for 25% of my wages since I started working permanent nights almost 5 years ago.
It's s lot to lose unexpectedly.
At the moment they are thankfully paying 100% of my basic (nmw) but the drop in shift allowance means I'm still losing an extra 5% more than I would otherwise.
TIA.

I know I'm extremely lucky to still be getting my full basic but it's still an overall loss to my income of over 25%.
