I’ve just read on Sky News that the ice rink in Milton Keynes will likely be turned into a mortuary. Just reading this terrifies me. The sheer numbers that the government think may be involved. It’s so hard to keep positive at home, in front of my kids. What on earth is going to happen?

I think they are already using ice rinks in Italy and Spain. It's terrible isn't it.

I’m so frightened.

Yes I just read this, it's near me and it's an awful thought. But let's hope it won't need to be used. Ice rinks all over uK are being used I think. (prepared just in case, anyway)

I'm sorry you are scared. It's all so uncertain, isn't it. Thinking of you.

I don't know what sort of capacity mortuaries usually run at. I suppose that any nationwide increase in deaths over a short period of time in going to necessitate extra facilities. I hope that at least if they are prepared there will more options for people to be buried or cremated as they have chosen rather than other rushed options. I hope they won't need to use the extra space but it is sensible to create it. To be honest I agree, it's hard to know how to process what is going on or what will happen.

They have to prepare for the absolute worst case scenario. Those plans won’t necessarily be needed.

Our individual chances of dying from COVID19 remain low, so it’s important to try to keep perspective and keep functioning. Flowers

If we all do what we can to stop the virus spreading, then ice rinks can remain ice rinks.

Am I the only one thinking that it’s because the bodies with the virus’s should be kept separate? Like we are all wiping our hands and everything so why wouldn’t the virus still be on the body? Why change it:
