Other COVID-19 symptoms

Just now on Newsnight they have listed the following reported symptoms from initial UK cases:

Cough
Fatigue
Fever
Headache
Muscle ache
Other
Sore throat
Loss appetite (sic)
Runny nose
Short breath
Joint ache
Sneeze
Diarrhea (sic)
Nausea
Vomit
Alt consc
Nose bleed
Rash
Seizure

The list is in order of percentage of occurence in those completing questionnaires.

Just over 75% had a cough while the figure was about 65 to 70% for a fever.

I think quite a few people who have not yet had a test will feel vindicated that they might not just be imagining they have COVID-19 despite not having the fever or cough.

Oh crap, sneezing and runny nose is on there.
Half the family have this at the moment and I was sure they’d be ok and that it was a cold/hay fever

But then if a temperature or cough never develops it can’t be, can it?

80% of covid infections have mild or no symptoms.

Assume you have it and self isolate if you have any symptoms at all.

Only a small percentage will ever need hospital and of them, only a small percentage will need to be in ICU.

It’s a mild dose for 80% of the population.

I’ve recovered from it.

The most important thing is to self isolate, and not to infect anyone who is elderly, or who has underlying medical conditions as they will most likely need intervention... and the icu beds, ventilators and HCPs are in limited supply.

I think more people should be aware that just because they do not have a fever or a cough, when they are out and about they could be infectious.

That is why social distancing is so important and self isolation if you have symptoms that 'could be' evidence of having coronavirus. Better to err on the side of caution than be even slightly responsible for someone ending up in ICU or worse.

Someone had:

visual headache
Shoulder and neck pain
Restless

Yep... Convid-19

They should add "foul metallic taste in mouth" to that list.

A UK doctor tested positive described having that as A prominent symptom. I've just got over something with exactly the same. I've never experienced that in my life.

I’m not sure if what I had was CV because no temp or dry cough but I had...
Very sore throat
Heart palpitations
Burning/indigestion feeling in your chest
Strange taste in my mouth
Fluttering sensation in my chest.

I’m really not sure it was CV but I felt very ill and I do work in the London borough with the most cases.
