Day 1 - mid January - scratchy throat, little irritating dry cough, repetitive all day.
Days 2-7 killer sore throat, aches and pains all round neck and throat, shoulders, arms, had to sit still as so sore. Lump in throat feeling but could swallow ok. Shooting pain in neck are and burning all round windpipe area (throat to upper chest).
Day 8 - still got irritating little dry cough, sudden feeling that can’t breathe and starting breathing for really fast. Rattling phlegm in chest. Scary.
Day 9 - breathing fine. Voice croaky. Throat still sore and pains in neck/ shoulder still bad.
This gradually resolved over the next month.

But had no fever! Just wondered if anyone else had this presentation as it was so odd. I even went to see an ENT consultant but he couldn’t see anything structurally wrong.

Anyone? My low level anxiety is not so low at the moment. I’ve got a hospital scan tomorrow (not corona related) and very nervous I’m going to pick the virus up there Sad, don’t know if I should be going or not.

I know that no one can say one way or the other. I just wondered if anyone would read this and find it familiar.

I had that funny bug in January. I don't think I had Covid tho if that's what you're asking?

I've had no fever (or atleast nothing over 37.5/38 for more than an hour- hot and cold flushes though) but every other symptom going. 2X drs have said they feel as sure as they can be without testing that I've had covid 🤷‍♀️

Oh my goodness I’ve just been reading the lungs thread. I had the internal vibrations, skin pricking, pins and needles in odd places and the odd numb toe. I’d forgotten that as my throat and windpipe was so painful so I focussed on that. Maybe it was covid after all.
