I'm extremely vulnerable and my husband a key worker. I have had to move out for the 12 weeks I'm required to shield mainly because the other option wasn't feasible as advised by the govt which is seperate bedrooms, bathrooms, eat seperately, don't sit in a room together and keep all children away from the key worker

Dad is a key worker. Mum is shielding.

She doesnt have a different home to go to.

Their washing machine is in the garage. So dad changes out of his work clothes at work. Gets home, straight to the garage and takes the clothes he has off and outs them in the wash. He sanitised and runs into the house in his pants, straight to the shower and disinfect the bathroom after.

Living wise, they cant not be near eachother. They do sleep seperate and try and by in different rooms as much as possible. Mum is pretty much in the kitchen all day, doing crafting bits dad used to do the cooking, but now mum does so she can be left in there.

Dad rarely uses it. If he does its ti make a hot drink and has to clean what he has touched

So far, neither of them have got ill. But who knows how long we will be lucky for.
