Dodgy hand sanitizer manufacturing - what can I do?

All I have is a postcode. The company has no signage. Their product smells like a strange and unpleasant alcohol type thing. Lots of young people have recently been offered cash in hand jobs for long hours at this place. They've been given a mask to wear but no distancing or safety regulations are in place.

What can I do about my concerns?

Report to police?

I should think that's what hand gel smells like when it's just ethanol and something to make it gooey and none of the perfumes or whatever they put into the commercial stuff.

Cash in hand doesn't mean tax evasion if that's what you're implying, and 'long hours' will be a godsend to thousands of unemployed right now.

They've been given a mask to wear but no distancing or safety regulations are in place.

Are 'distancing' regulations in place for essential workers? I don't see police officers practicing social distancing between each other?

Contact Trading Standards if you have concerns but this all sounds pretty thin to me.

Trading standards is closed.

I'm sure it's a perfectly legitimate and safe product that hasn't suddenly started out of an unmarked unit that will profit from desperate people @jimmyhill Hmm

Why shouldn't it be? I used to live near a place that made pickled onions. A small ramshackle warehouse, virtually unmarked.

I'm not one for pickled onions but they were a famous local brand and apparently very good.
