Don't understand my family at times

Dad over 70, heart condition, been asked if needed help in vulnerable group by council welfare person...

my sibling tells me, first well the shop is close by so he should be Ok, then, they think he will be ok unless he develops symptoms in which case we can drop shopping off for him if necessary

I don't think that's right. They live closer though

Thinking I might just put him on the list anyway. Any thoughts?

i don't understand what they mean, letting him get it and then drop off food? Confused and how does distance to the shop matter?

What does your dad think of all of this?

Oh, he thinks he is fine going to the shop etc, doesn't seem to understand how contagious it is.

Just spoke to him and he told me that my brother says there aren't any cases where they are so he should be fine! Confused - (there are)

Not very helpful. Also he is going to the shop every day at least.

So I just told him try and go weekly, not every day, and take care and about a food delivery service he can use. And hand washing.
