Supposedly more people die from the flu each year than from corona, so where are all the flu cases at the moment, does anyone know?

The news doesn't care about them so therefore don't brandish those figures everywhere?

Everyone who actually has flu thinks they have coronavirus and there is no way to tell because there is no testing taking place?

Flu hasn't stopped. Nor have heart attacks, cancer, accidents etc etc

You see the depth of this crisis now?

Siameasy · 30/03/2020 17:29

Not newsworthy anymore. Everyone who has anything remotely resembling a sniff has “got it” and flu/other viruses/bacterial infections no longer exist.

flu seasons mostly over.

I'd imagine with everyone socially distancing, the flu is not being spread like it usually would be.

(She says hopefully...)

No. On a really bad flu year Italy loses about 20,000 people to flu. They've lost over 11,000 in a month to coronavirus and it's not taken hold in most of the country yet.
