Do we know yet definitively how long someone is infectious after symptoms resolve??

Government guidelines saying to isolate for the 7/14 days from the first symptom.

There is a good summary of some of the studies here www.statnews.com/2020/03/09/people-shed-high-levels-of-coronavirus-study-finds-but-most-are-likely-not-infectious-after-recovery-begins/

However just read today that in a newer study, people can keep shedding the virus for up to 8 days after recovery. here
scitechdaily.com/covid-19-patients-can-still-have-coronavirus-up-to-8-days-after-symptoms-disappear/

This isn't a government bashing question. When I began with symptoms one of my DC were at their dad's, where they've remained and are to remain til i'm better. I miss them so so much, now thinking I may have to stay away longer.

Has anyone read anything else on how long you are contagious for after recovery??

It’s hard to know, isn’t it, OP - the test results seem to show quite a long variation between cases. Some patients were still excreting virus even weeks later, particularly if they had been severely ill.

Minor cases seem to stop shedding sooner - perhaps their immune systems were more effective at mopping up the virus?
As this is a new infection, we may have to wait for more studies to get a reliable answer. Worryingly though, it seems people are excreting live virus before they become clinically ill, which makes social distancing absolutely vital. You have to assume everyone you meet is potentially infected.
