What can I do for my friend who is struggling?

A friend of mine (not close but meet regularly through a group and get on well) is having a terrible time of it and I'm wondering what little things I could do to help keep her spirits lifted? Her v long term relationship finished abruptly in feb, she’s out of work because of CV and this is on top of various other issues that happened earlier in the year.

Is there anything else I can do alongside writing cards, video calls? I know this is the most stressful time for her, any ideas hugely appreciated!!

If you can afford to send her an online delivery of her favourite treats or something? Plan something to do together when this is over so she’s got something to look forward to Smile

You sound like a lovely friend!

Thank you!! You gave me an idea and I’ve just ordered a gingerbread man biscuit holding a bunch of flowers to be delivered 🙂. Silly but hopefully will make her smile xx

Good plan. Once, during the most stressful time of my life (up til now anyway) a friend sent me a box of smoked eels. Absurd on many levels but it was lovely to know someone was thinking of us.
