Eye pain?! Is this a symptom?

Hi all,

I’ve had what I thought was a minor cold for the past 5 days (have not left the house, we have all been at home self isolating) and today I have woken up with SUCH sore eyes. It feels like the actual eye balls hurt, if I press on my eye lid the whole area feels sore and tender. The only other symptoms I’ve had have been a tickly throat, minor cough and I have been feeling bunged up. No fever, no breathlessness, no persistent heavy cough.

For those who have had Coronavirus or suspect you have had it, did anyone else have this? I’m obviously going to keep indoors and see how things progress but I don’t remember ever having sore eyes like this before, so it’s all very odd. Also pregnant at the minute so a little extra anxious.

i had this a few days before I developed a fever. Incredibly sore, painful, burning eyes, weeping, watering. I put it down to too much phone/screen use and not enough sleep, but I always do that. In retrospect i think it is very likely the first symptom of COVID 19. But I won't know until I've had a test.

(My daughter developed a fever and dry cough on the same day as me)
