What does it feel like to have coronavirus?

What does it actually feel like to have coronavirus? I have had a bad cough for two days. So do both of my parents whom I live with. We were already self-isolating. However, they think it is just a cold. I don't think I have a fever.

The difficulty is few are being tested yet, so no one knows for sure. I believe I have it, as I haven’t experienced symptoms like this before. I have had a fluctuating raised temp for about 4 days, aches and fatigue. I have asthma and my chest has been tight, mildly so for about 5 days and worse for last 4, a few episodes of feeling quite breathless which can be relieved with my inhaler. Not really a cough other than trying to cough to break up the stuck feeling in my lungs. My kids both have fluctuating temps too.

It seems the symptoms present quite differently for people so it’s difficult to compare or draw firm conclusions. I spoke to a Gp who said what I’m experiencing could be corona, or any other virus.

I have no idea, but I’d love to find out.

Last night my lymph nodes in my neck become swollen. Today they are swollen and tend to touch.

I have a sort of ‘asthma’ like feeling. A bit breathless and a compression sensation on my throat and chest.

No temperature and when I cough, it’s simply to ‘clear’ my throat.

I wonder if it could be the start of Covid...but equally I wonder if I’m just having panic attacks.

It's so difficult, i think I've had it and am still recovering. I'm day 11 and returned to work yesterday as my temp is normal but i still have a cough. My cough doesn't feel chesty though, it's tickly and dry.

I had a raised temperature day 1-2. Felt rough but not desperately. Easily managed with paracetamol.

The only thing that made me think it wasn't it was hoarse voice, i still struggled speaking yesterday and had a coughing fit due to hoarseness.

Worryingly my cough was improving but it's back again, the guidelines say that the cough can linger for weeks. But can not self isolate after 7 days.

My DP feels a bit meh but my Dd has been thus far anaffected
