Ex not allowing dad to see kids

Just after some advice. A friends partner hasn’t seen his dc for nearly a month due to the situation and the fact his ex is taking advantage of this situation. She said they were in quarantine for 2 weeks as one of the dc had a persistent cough but we have just found out she has been going to work and sending the dc to school.
So she’s either lying which is awful with everything people are going through or she’s being very irresponsible!!
She won’t allow him to see the kids and it is becoming upsetting for everyone! What options do they have?

Some seperated parents are revelling in this, and withholding contact it's disgraceful, but sadly there's nothing really. Unless it's court ordered contact and the other party is in breach nothing can be done.

In any normal circumstances you'd advise them to get legal advice and support but it's thin on the ground given the global circumstances.

They’ve got joint custody and she’s still refusing! So unfair. She lied for two weeks saying they were in quarantine and instead has sent them to school with plenty other kids instead of their dads where they would be safer. Unbelievable to take advantage in this awful situation!

What goes round comes round. Is there a court order? If so, your DH needs to follow this up.

To be clear, I meant for her. When al, this madness ends, those who were taking advantage in any way will have to answer for their actions.

It’s a friend but I think they do have a court order. He’s not see them in 3 wks, it’s awful. Can’t believe people are taking advantage in this god awful situation!!
