Feel awful- throat is on fire!

I am in so much pain, my throat feels like I'm swallowing razor blades and it's on fire 24/7. I've got aches and a cough that won't go away.

I'm at a loss with what to do, I've got throat spray and cold and flu tablets and they are not helping at all. Please advice me, anything would be appreciated!

I have just come down with a heavy chest & I feel dizzy I hope this isn’t the start of it

I doubt it was CV as it was in Feb but I had the most horrible sore throat, and I’ve always been prone to things like laryngitis, tonsillitis and throat infections and it was nothing like I have ever had before. The only thing that helped was drinking warm water to be honest. Anything cold or hot and that wasn’t water made it sting like mad! Hope you feel better soon

I remember I had something similar (throat infection) a number of years ago, sipping water often helped me just to stop my throat getting too dry. I hope your okay Op
